Why do people vote against their own economic interests?
Party affiliation is often bigger than the details of policies. The policies of Trump's GOP have left most Americans to fend for themselves during turbulent times. The Democrats have consistently put forward laws that lift people up instead of keeping them down. We cannot let identity politics cloud the conversation. Democrats have rescued the economy, created the biggest single job gain on record and have worked to lower gas prices. They fought to lower insulin prices and GOP Representatives voted against. We will continue to highlight the differences in policy between the parties and help Americans understand who will take them into the future.
